The JDLA has promoted the G-certificate as a means to certify Deep Learning practitioners. It has already produced more than 30,000 successful candidates in Japan, helping to fill the shortage of AI talent locally. This exam is now available in English for the very first time.
Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA) will be holding the “Deep Learning for GENERAL: JDLA Certificate Examination” on 2021 January 30 (JST) online in English for the first time. Registration is possible online between 2020 December 22 – 2021 January 22 (JST).
The Deep Learning Certificate for GENERAL (henceforth, the “G-Certificate”) was produced by the JDLA as part of its strategy to nurture, cultivate and develop talents who can bring meaningful changes to various industries leveraging their deep learning knowledge and experiences.
The G-Certificate exam does not simply cover the basics and the latest of deep learning. It encompasses diverse spheres around the deep learning realm all strongly connected to each other, including topics such as the history of AI (Artificial Intelligence); the foundation of machine learning; knowledge on legal risks around AI applications; and, discussions on the ethical and moral aspects of the fields.
These are all essential elements in people bringing substantial changes and innovations in this modern time’s business arenas.
