– International exchange by posting photos and videos with #journalone –
The Secretariat of the Headquarters for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Promotion of the Cabinet Secretariat has launched the “Italia x Giappone Yell Exchange Project” to provide an opportunity for Italians to interact with the four cities and towns that have Italy as their host town (Sendai, Fujieda, Gotemba and Yakage). The period is from 11 June to 5 September 2021.

Residents of four cities and towns have been posting photos on Instagram in support of the Italian athletes. We invite all Italians who have seen them to submit photos in response.

[Project background]
The aim of the host town is to have long-lasting exchanges in many fields such as sports, culture and economy on the occasion of the Tokyo Games, but there have been a number of cancellations of exchanges due to the COVID-19. We wanted to do something in this context, which is why we started this project.
