[Overview of the Pitch Presentation]

Katsuya Matsubara, Director of GETE, presented the structure and philosophy behind the GET Token (Global Entertainment Token) as a redefinition of entertainment in the Web3 era.

(Speech Summary)

“Let me introduce how the Global Entertainment Token — we call it GET — is redefining how films are funded, created, and experienced in the Web3 era.

In today’s industry, creative decisions are made by centralized entities which focuses on their profit. So, audiences, despite their passion, remain just spectators.

GET will change that. Through decentralized voting, fans can now decide which films are produced and how budgets are spent. This is not just about money. It’s about meaningful stories of co-creating.

As GET works more than a token — it would be a new standard for trust, creativity, and community in entertainment.”

This pitch was highly praised by both the judges and attendees for offering a fresh perspective on the fusion of Web3 and visual culture, ultimately earning the project a distinguished second-place award.

Comment from Marc-Lionel Gatto, organizer of Cannes NEXT:

The energy at the pitch event was electric, with so many creative ideas on display. GET’s pitch, in particular, showcased a strong vision and impressive potential. I’m confident they will continue to grow and achieve great things.

[Origin of the GET Project and Path to This Presentation]

In 2024, GET Entertainment Inc. (“GETE”) launched the GET Token project—an innovative entertainment economy leveraging Web3 technology to visualize and monetize fan support. By accumulating fan engagement in the form of tokens, holders are empowered to participate and receive returns, creating a new economic model for “fan activities.”

On May 14, 2025, the GET Token was listed on Gate.io and MEXC, establishing a global infrastructure connecting users worldwide. This milestone marked the transition of the project into a global expansion phase.

Recognized for this vision and achievements, GETE was selected as a presenting company at the official Cannes Film Festival program, “Cannes Next | Tech4Movies Global Show.” After evaluation by an international panel of judges from the film, investment, and blockchain industries, GETE earned second place among twelve projects selected from across the globe.

Looking ahead, GETE aims to realize an era where everyone can be a co-creator through Web3 and will continue to strengthen partnerships with international content studios and creators.
